Please help me choose armor

Hi,

I want to create a new fortitude armor for my barb and have the following options:

4so superior Wyrmhide 508 def (8%ed)
4so superior Wyrmhide 503 def (7%ed+15%incr dura)
4so superior Great Hauberk 532 def (6%ed+15 incr dura)
4so superior Scarab Husk 527 def (11%ed, 14% incr dura)

Now which should I choose?

Depends on what you plan to do. PvM? Take the first one! The others with %dura would cost gazillions more to repair.
PvP? Then you're probably desperate squeezing out the most of your build -> go with the highest defense!

OR!

You can be cool, and pick the one that gives your character the best look! :wink3:

When using rals cost are not really an issue.

since they're all light and none of them have high str req i would go with the great hauberk because that'll give you most defense (1551 to be exact)

how much more does it cost to repair superior items than non superior ones ?

I currently have no superior eni and repair costs are no problem, i just bring home some armor for larzuk every time i go to town.

fully repairing fortitude in dusk shroud cost me little over 1m

Its sad how many ppl vote - I just picked one of the better ones - but in a close 2nd was the : 4so superior Wyrmhide 503 def (7%ed+15%incr dura)
I personally whould use the 4so superior Wyrmhide.

I voted for wyrm with edura (note: i'm not sure if it costs more to repair armor with + dura!) because of the resale value and as the repair costs are high you wouldn't have to ''waste'' ort rune in cube so often.

durability does increase price. if pvm, using a superior armor is just stupid. the repair costs are insane and having to store runes to use the repair recipe is unreasonable for the pennies of extra defense you get from superiority. you will always accidentally "repair all" at some point and entirely drain your gold. then you will pound your computer and scream "why didnt i just use a regular armor??? why did i have to be leet?" ive seen this happen.
