The first one is for all other sorc skills that does not have a built in time delay like Blizzard. Other spells like FB, Nova, Static, etc. all follow the first one.

Even those skills with casting delay are cast faster with FCR. It's just not that noticable because the casting delay is much larger than the duration of the casting animation.

Can someone please explain these break points and formulas to me and how they can benefit my new sorc? I read the brief one below but I still don't get it. Thanks.

For some reason, I seem to recall Lightning and Chain Lightning working off IAS instead of FCR.
Why do I recall that? Maybe it's the senility kicking in ...

It is because they did rely on IAS back in the days...they are fcr based now

so i believe my sorc is at 115 im still stuck at the 8fps for my lite instead of the 7 because i need 2 more points? also with having most of the fcr items how will i be able to make that.

my sorc is using:
griff
eschunta
spirit
maras
2xs soj
arach
trangs
etreks
coh ds

Your current gears give 25 (griff) + 40 (eschuta) + 20 (arach) + 20 (trangs) + 25-35 (spirit) = 130-140FCR. Where did you get the 115 from?

Hi, i just registered and had a question about Ias breakpoints for a sorceress who changes into a bear (with using the beast runeword)

from what i read here:

Weapon Phase Blade
1H slashing weapon [-30]
IAS FPA APS
0% 13 1.9
10% 12 2
24% 11 2.2
48% 10 2.5

highest IAS needed on a phaseblade for a sorceress should be 48%, but i tried using a BOTD phaseblade (60% ias) and a 100% (4 ias jewels and 2 shaels) ias phaseblade when in bearform and i can see a rather big difference, so are there formulas for the IAS breakpoints for a bearsorceress or is my mind just playing tricks?
