    A question concerning elemental damage applied to neg. resistances

    i have a question concerning elemental damage and neg. resistances.

    Lets say a -135% conviction aura hits a +75 to all resists monster leaving said monster with -60 to elemental resists. what is the actual damage done to said monster when say 50 of some type of elemental damage is applied and how is this damage calculated?

    Total damage = normal damage*(1-res/100)

    Normal damage=50, res=-60 => Total damage = 50*(1-(-60)/100) = 80

    Of course, monsters with more than 100% res won't get healed. They are simply immune.
