I was wondering about Ilvl of charms because i was interested in trying to reroll some.
First of all is there anyway to tell exactly what the ilvl of an item is?
Second, can the Ilvl be high even if the Clvl isnt? So i could go find a GC in act 5 hell with some crappy stats but the Ilvl is still high so it could pottentially reroll a Skill charm?
Also is it better to keep trying to reroll the same charm or get new ones and reroll them once?
thanks for the help
Not really. The affixes that spawn on the item may given an indication of the ilvl, but only if the affixes are really high. There's no way to tell what ilvl the item is in game, unless you've seen it drop from a certain monster and you know the mlvl of that monster.Originally Posted by FalseGix
Correct. The clvl has no impact on charm re-rolling. The only important thing is the ilvl of the charm. A charm found in Act 5 Hell would certainly be able to get +skills on it, and the clvl of the char who found it, or the char who rolled it wouldn't matter at all.Originally Posted by FalseGix
There's no real advantage to re-rolling multiple charms once when compared to re-rolling the same charm multiple times. Re-rolling a charm doesn't reduce the chance of it getting a good affix later on, so as long as the charm is of a high enough level for the affixes you desire, you should keep re-rolling the same charm.Originally Posted by FalseGix
95% of the time I'm right, so why worry about the other 2%?
