Then use BJam's guide.
Would you say that Bjam's guide is a good PvM in general?
I will try to go trough the game with a friend (playing Barbarian).
I was thinking of Oak Vs HoW. In general people say HoW is the way to go, but since we are doing HC and he will pump BO the Oak will get some addtional life.
The biggest problem for us will be IM and I honestly don't know how we are gonna do that.
Last time we played Blizz Sorc + Barbarian, but I'm just so sick of playing a Blizz Sorc.
Look if you want to use this build, yes you will beable to ingore iron maiden, and have a unkillable werewolf in pvm. Just remaber you must go off and use the items on the list inorder to do so. Go with oak sage so you can have the extra hp.
How would you distribute skill points? Would you aim to max Werewolf then Lycanthropy or would you do 1 and 1 untill both are maxed out?
After you do that would you then max out Fury and then Oak Sage?
So I have to ask why the 20pts in Werewolf? The increased IAS doesn't change the FPS on a 30 or 40% Grief, are you finding it hard to hit and need the increased AR? With a Grief the ITD should negate the necessity there as well.
You might want to consider this PvM build which can do blood tanking on ubers.
1 Werewolf
20 Lycanthropy
20 Feral Rage
1 Rabies
20 Fury
20 Oak Sage [suggested] or Wolverine
From there the core is done at lvl71(?), but hey 20pt Cyclone Shield.
Equipment, what else can be said - everything works.
Hohner, would you say the build you have suggested is better designed to survive and kill in HC hell than the OP's? I am thinking about making some kinda of wolf and am intrigued as to the main gameplay differences between hunger and feral rage, the OP's build is designed to not fall to IM due to the use of items/hunger, how does your suggestion stand up? Is the loss of the % damage increase from fewer points in werewolf replaced anywhere and is Cyclone Shield useful in hell?

Why would you waste 20 points into CA? It's only use is for PvP for [most] shifters.
Also, Your build has already been discussed in another guide. The Coyote focusses on Fury/Hunger so not using the skill is kinda >.>.
Grief's ITD doesn't work on Bosses/Uniques so you still need AR
And the feral Uber build doesn't "Blood Tank" ubers (assuming Blood Tank means leech them). Feral Rage is used as a single target attack that allows you to focus down the Uber without pointless time wasted attacking other non critical adjacent targets.
Just a quick note now that there's no iron maiden for pvm is it still worth biulding ?
I would not know. I dont even play this game any more.
Good to know.
