Tomb Vipers in Hall of Vaught

What attack is it that those tomb vipers do and how can I avoid it? Its amazingly fast and hits me a crazy number of times to drain my 1.2K health in like half a second

The attack applies the tomb vipers physical damage on a frame by frame basis (similiar to poison). Going from memory, the damage would be around 30 per frame, with 25 frames a second. Because the damage is small, but applied really quickly, your best bet would be to have some sort of straight damage reduction (ie, like that provided by the gladiators bane).

Yea I had the same question about the tomb vipers a while ago. They can really tear you down quick. The best thing is to avoid them, if you can't, try not to move as the spears go past you. If you move in the poison cloud it will do more damage. They don't really block, so you can kill them quickly if you can avoid the poison spear/cloud. Having a lot of leech will help if you get hit, or you can prebuff with potions as you get attacked.
