Hi, I found a dagger with 72 charces of lvl 3 lower resist. Since I haven't got a infinity, I was planning to use this on switch. Will it be as effective as infinity? Is it of any use?

It will be almost as effective as infinity when used to break immunities; but not that effective on non-immune monsters. The reason is that lvl3 Lower Resist lowers enemy resist by -41, so when used to break immunities, it can break up to 108 resist. The lvl12 conviction from Infinity lowers enemy resist by -85, so infinity can break up to 117 resist. Very very few monsters have resistance in the range 109-117, so your lower resist will be almost as effective as infinity in terms of breaking immunities.

No, because you'd have to switch and cast it, and recharge when it runs out.

Infinity allows you to break immunity with an aura on a MERC, so you don't do anything except keep your merc alive.

it's still pretty useful when you encounter an immune; however, I think you should be killing at a decent speed without it.
