Does anyone know what is going on with East and when it will be fixed? It went down 2 days ago? So I am rather upset, I understand that this is 4th of July break, but I mean it is 4th of July only for one day?

I find it odd that all other realms are up and East continues to be down. Strange

Dear Players, As you might've noticed, the USeast realm is down atm. This is due to an attack by someone, on the servers. They thought the server would be most vulnerable during the holiday, and he might've been right. We plan to have it fixed by Wednesday. Sorry for the inconvience

So you'd spend more money to buy a game that you have to pay a monthly fee for just because D2 East is down? If so, then congratulations, you've just been suckered into the WoW trap....

Note to self - Allways perm mules in case a realm descides to go down for a couple of weeks.

Personally, I only play WoW offline, it's called dot Hack though. And it pre-dates WoW by some time. (Original release date of the manga series 03/18/2003)
Oh, if you watch the series, don't just watch the first couple of episodes, watch at least 4 or 5 to get a good idea about the series. You will recognise a lot of eeehm, playertypes in there.

Just because you can't get in game doesn't mean you can't keep your mules alive. For the mules that aren't permed yet, just log in, it will set back to ten days again. Got one I'm doing that with right now.

True, when I am refreshing my accounts I rarely go into games with any of them. I just select one, go into the chat or waiting area and then esc out again.
3 chars per account and then move on to another account. The latter seems to help against realm down.

a practice I've had for a while. I use busted characters (ones I experimented on, but found it a failed experiment) as mules.

else, if those are full, I perm the mule before putting gear in/on it.

the failed experiments work nice too, cause they usually have enough str to at least wear some of the gear I'm storing, and most are at least in hell act 1 which facilitates trading easier.
