Affordable frenzy axe

Hey guys,

I just made a beast zerker for my frenzy barb, but i dont have that good of a 2nd weapon. I have a rare ettin with ~270 dmg, razords edge, butchers(no up, im on nonladder), but thats about it, im wondering if you have some suggestions for a good 2nd axe. I have roughly 1 soj to spend

here were some of my ideas

runemaster
low ebotdz(not sure if i can get 1 for only 1 soj, but maybe)
crescent moon (low dmg, but has static, not very high on my list since beast dmg is already kinda low)
rare zerk/ettin etc

ias on secondary weapon doesnt matter tho right? just the wep speed?

Well it does matter, but with a Beast you can get by on having low ias on your second hand. Razor is ok, Death Cleaver is better, but to make up for Beast's not amazing damage I recommend an ethereal Death axe. The runes are not hard to get, but an ethereal 5 socket axe is the problem. I have one in an Ettin Axe because they have a max of 5 sockets and it works good.

death is a ladder runeword if im not mistaken, a quite expensive runeword if i am also not mistaken

i was a little mistaken on the runes, vex is high, gul is high but not expensive.

biggest problem is its a ladder rw

Yeah and go for Razors. A fury BA is a odd choice but it works and not least Doom. But 5 os Zerks are rare as hell.

Yeah, and go for Razor's Edge. A 'Fury' runeword Berserker Axe is an odd choice, but it works. Also, 'Doom' Berserker Axe works. However, Berserker Axes with five open sockets (the number required for 'Doom' runeword) are excruciatingly rare.

My person input: Fury is a low damage, but speedy choice. It gives nice Open Wounds and a +5 skill boost to Frenzy, if I'm not mistaken. Doom can have quite high damage, though it is indestructible, and thus will never be as strong as ethereal axes. Doom also gives Holy Freeze aura, which adds a small amount of cold damage as well as the nice freezing effect of the aura.
