Urgent Uber help!

Guys, I currently have my assassin char in a game where she was killing the ubers. She killed mephisto and diablo, and was onto the last slither of baals life before she ran out of mana. So i hopped back through the red portal to get her some. And then took her to the frigid plains so my barb could bo her before she went and finished the job off.

Now I'm back in harrogath and although the portals to the matrons den, and the sands are still open..i can't see the red portal to tristram!

Have i messed up? i was under the impression you could leave through the red portal and then get back in it without problem


A timely resposne would be massively appreciated!

u just stacked portals - the game is lost. next time try to make portals in the different places

You mean that because they are effectively made over one another, I can't get back in it? >.<

So you could enter the Tristram portal once and then it doesn't work anymore ? That's strange.

Slowly move the mouse cursor around the border of the portal. Does it never say Tristram ? If not, the orgen set is most probably lost.

It was the first time I'd took on the Ubers, And it was all going a hunky dory. Guess its one of them things you live and learn from.

Anyway, thankyou for your responses, in future I'll set the portals slightly apart. Only thing that annoys me greatly is because bnet is so laggy, It takes me alot longer to create games and find the keys >.<

harrogahth is quite big make portals in different places, not slightly apart

I had the same problem one time.

Your organ set is lost...unfortunately.

Next time, just stick the cube in your backpack and open the portals in different places, as others have said.

I was helping someone from these forums (I won't say who), and he stacked two portals. After we killed Duriel, he made Matron and we went in. The Matron portal completely covered the Sands. We both went back to town through the red portal, and then the Sands portal came on top and we couldn't get back in Matron. So...that game was out to screw him. How can the stupid portal switch??? How does the game know what to do to annoy players? He learned his lesson though. No more stacking for him.
