1.09 I rerolled with 2 accs of duped SOJs and got nothing worthwhile
The point in 1.09 was to use the same SoJ over and over again, giving you as many chances as you had time. That method was fixed, and I was never completely sure how it was done. Using an SoJ to reroll is a major waste without it.
two accounts full of SOJs pales in comparison to infinite SOJs. I can tell you that reroll was not a waste of time. The setups that players were crafting were unimaginable in today's economy. A lot of time was wasted on dueling weapons I'm afraid, but oh well.
If 2 accs didn't yielf anything worthwhile, then how many SOJs would you need to get a full godly setup? This takes a lot of time, and an equal number of pskulls
If you have to glitch it to use the same SOJ over and over again, then this would take more time. If 2 accs without any glitch didn't give me anything worthwhile, then spending much more time would take weeks on end to get a good result.
I'm really not sure what to tell you. I've seen guys who basically made it their sole occupation for months just rolling insane items. If you had the bankroll and were friendly with one of these guys, you'd give them the SOJs and pskulls and within a few hours you were more than likely to have an item with similar mods to what you wanted. If you were specifically rolling amulets, then maybe things were different as I don't really remember too many amulets being rolled. But I could be wrong. I'm not sure what level the SOJ + pskull reroll equals out to, but I know you couldn't get +2's.Originally Posted by Zodijackyl

The time it takes to find each new SOJ? this was .09, come on now. There was no time to find each SOJ. I think this back and forth is going nowhere though, you had different experiences than others. That's just the odds for ya, would you say that gambling unlimited gold is a waste of money? maybe if you gambled 10 or 20 million and got all crap, but if you gamble 100 or 200 million you will see that some good amulets can be gambled.
If I am correct the ability to use a soj and pskul to reroll are rare is just like finding a new one. So if you amount of sojs, provided from an honest way or not is larger than your ability to go out and find a new rare then it was a better system. Specificaly if you are looking for a certain type of item. Example:
If you are looking for a high Ed BHammer, you have a normal rare and you continue to reroll it 5 times in 5 mins, the chances of it rerolling with decent mods would be much higher than if you went to mf adn hoped a rare bhammer would drop on top of it finding the right mods. So rerolling is a very viable way to make a prophit or to obtain good items. I will almost gaurantee that some of the best amulets are gambled or rerolled from Diablo.
