Hey folks,

Well I've read the The Vanquisher guide and The 1 pt Smiter guide and have a few questions for you experienced uber runners out there.

Can a Hammerdin take on the ubers with Smiter gear and 1 point in Smite?

Right now I'm level 75 and at a crossroad. Should I spend my points and start maxing Holy Shield and go Vanquisher. Or should I put it into Blessed Aim to max Hammers and just take on the Ubers with 1 point in Smite.

I guess my problem is I'll only be only using Smite for the Ubers while the majority of the time I'm using Hammers. Seems a waste to max a skill that's only going to be used very rarely.

Your experience and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I searched through this forum the last 2 days but I never saw your post .

Do you think you can do the Ubers with lesser gear? Namely without the Runeword armor.

Nope, I went pretty much base strength with enigma so I can't really use any other armors. However, providing I didn't lay my stats out according to enigma, I should be able to manage it. Crushing blow, 6fpa smite and life-tap is all that matters really.

In my opinion though, it's not worth the effort. Best if you just make a 1pt smiter.
