I was recently in a game with a close real friend in it at the same time. he never moved as he was just letting me mule while playing WOW. I droped many items on the ground. lots of runes and about 50pgems and some flawless. I was bouncing in and out of the game muling between several chars and all of my runes, gems, and even a few items vanished. none were duped. found everything myself. courious what could cause this and what to do so it wont happen again.. lost lots of legit values because of this. including some skill gcs i had just rolled and a couple of hi. bummed me. :cry:
FYI, white and grey items don't last very long on the ground (~5 minutes), while blues, yellows, greens, and golds last much longer (~30 - 60 minutes). If you have a lot of items to mule around, I would suggest dropping some and picking it back up, and then doing more.
Also you have to be wary of the server crashing while you are muling, which is anothe good reason to not leave so much on the ground at any one time.
Never mule in a game that feels laggy, and don't jump in and out of games too fast, or else you risk realm down. Try to stay in the game for at least a minute before leaving.
dont drop mule something unless you are willing to lose it.
now that you know that leaving items on floor makes them poof over a certain period of time. also note this, RW's are considered white/grey. your enigma will poof in 5 minutes if you dont pick it back up.
