Pretty much any character can be played through Hell. If you're looking for easy play, the necromancer focusing on summons/CE is probably the easiest to get through with. You want to start out with caster types as melee is very underpowered until you get some nice items for them. Meteor/Frozen Orb is a very popular combo... as are trap casting assassins.

From what I have found, just about any caster is good all the way thru to Hell diff, but once you hit hell you need some gear to really advance adequately. Even a fishy needs gearhelp. Otherwise you'll be sitting there forever.

I started a new idea for me today too. An Ax barb focusing on max frenzy damage.

are probably the easiest to take through Hell untwinked. Each of them is easier if you get lucky and find a couple of nice equipment items as you're questing.

No, no, no, you all misread the question.

A) He wants the EBST character! Which obviously means BEST EBAY character!
B) Since he plans to beat Hell D, which I can only assume refers to Hell Diablo, he must be playing Classic, and not Expansion.
C) This will be Single Player only. No multiplayer, and no twinking.


Now that you know the facts, let's get down to the...um...facts. Yeah.


A)

A quick search on Ebay for "Diablo" netted me this sweet computer that plugs into your Camaro to make it go faster. It almost makes me want to remove the T-Tops and grow a mullet. Almost.

Ok, so the character needs to have lots of 'merican V-8 ponies. That's NPLOL. Barbarian for sure.


B)

Classic, eh? Man, you sure can't beat the WW barb in classic. IAS has nothing to do with attack speed, so get yourself the biggest, slowest weapon you can find, and whirl away.

The rest goes into BO for "optimal horsepower and torque at each rpm increment".


C)

play legit SP, almost any build is doable.

However, if you want the easiest one, nothing can beat fishymancer.

The most important thing: which ever is the build you enjoy to play, go for it.
