Everything was fine yesterday.. then when i come back on d2 2day, i find that my ohm rune is missing.. do u guys think it was duped? and if so how do i reduce the chance of getting a duped item/rune?

Hi, This isint a direct answer, but i heard that there is something called "perming runes." I dont know if its possible or not, i'm looking out for the same thing.

Perming runes will not work. The only runes you can guarantee not to dissapear are the ones you find yourself. All others have a high possibility of dissapearing, no matter what people say.

so far I've never had a runeword dissapear on me. But maybe was just luck on my part

Runewords cannot really dissapear, unless the whole thing was duped. Even though I've heard of cases where a runeword made out of duped runes has had some of it's runes dissapear, from the middle or not, either resulting in no change, or losing the whole runeword (with only the bonuses of the other runes left), or still having the runeword but losing the bonus from the rune that dissapeared.

well nowadays all runewords seem to be made from duped runes hmm... except for some cheap runes like hel, etc.

perming runes is done by 2 of same kind+a gem(specific ones) in cube. This gives rune of next grade, but often it isnt worth it with HRs as it results in losing 4ists of value

Not true.

That is an upgrade recipe, not perming and only works on ladder for most runes.

Thul and higher if I recall.
