CD key recovery

I know you are probably sick of CD key issues, but here is one anyway.
I don't have my CD-key lying around anymore. However, I have D2 installed on my old mac, and I can log on with it and play online on it, but that computer is quite old and struggles a bit with D2 so I want to move it to my new(er) windows PC. Is there any way that I can get the CD key out of my mac? Are there any programs or techniques that would allow me to see the key?

Did you read my post or not? I need a way to extract a cd key from the D2 install on my mac (OS9)

you cannot do that without using illegal software...of which none is supported or talked about here.
