From pink to purple to red. It's a themed color shift but it keeps the wife happy

Red for sure. However, I wouldn't be a Sith. So if that combination is not allowed, I'll take orange.

Why? The blue end of the spectrum stimulates the "rod" cells in your eyes more than the red end. At night, your rods are what allow you to see, at the expense of color ("cones" are for color, but aren't sensitive enough to be used at night). So, when it's dark, I don't want my own lightsabre blinding me. Hence, red.

I always wondered why they used blasters, didn't seem very effective when compared to a regular firearm. What was the range on one of those? 100 ft max? pfft!

Yeah, no joke. The shots moved so slowly that some guy with a futuristic sword could knock them out of the way. It seems like using a .45 would be a much smarter way to go, especially since I don't believe that the cheap plastic "armor" that stormtroopers wear could stop a paintball, let alone a bullet.
