Recently I've built a fireclaw druid, and i got all this great gear for him like phoenix, hoj, and ravenlore. I started thinking, since the damage of fireclaws increases alot with each level, am I better off just going for + to skills rather than the -res that those items give?
Maybe using a silence phase blade instead of a hoj, jalals instead of the ravenlore, and just a stormshield instead of phoenix. Any thoughts on what will yield more damage?
Usually -res gives best damage output.
Though using phoenix would just slow you down, since the chancetocast firestorm interrupts your fireclaws attack.
A normal shield (storm?) and a 6shael phaseblade is a better way to go, since you'll be hitting a lot faster.
Jalal's is better suited for survival, but Ravenlore makes you more damaging, that's your call really.
Loven the best werebear I know uses phoenix. Fire claw user nope. Does it effect mual, I didn't see it happening.
Maybe it was the stun time. I don't know for shure. But it was preatty phat.
I'm not sure if you were thinking this or not, but the +skills from items won't boost synergy damage, only the actual skill fireclaws.
Well i tried the 6 shael phase blade, and I don't think theres a better weapon out there....I didn't realize it was that fast. I also see what was meant by phoenix slowing you down. So that shall be replaced. And for the jalals/ravenlore I'm not so sure about. So I just have a little bit of work to do to make him better.
