A Few Gear Questions for a zeal

I haven't really played much at all since .09 but I've always kept my mules active with intentions of coming back sometime. So I've got alot to trade with but I've got a few questions. I'm fairly certian I can make a botd ( I"ve got all the runes except a hel ) I was gonna make it in a phase blade I think. I've made a nice archon enigma already also which I plan on using for my body armor. Is vampire gaze still the headgear staple ? is Storm Shield with the 35% damage reduction still the best pally shield going ? I've seen alot of people talking about resists being important so I'm not sure. Whats some other top of the line gear I should be looking for ? Basically.. If a zeal pally could have the absolute best gear what would it be? I may not be able to afford it all but I like having goals

Here is what I would use:

Helm: Guillaume's Face (35% crushing blow, 15% deadly strike)
Weapon- ebotd zerker axe. Don't make in a Phase blade. Too low of damage. Although, if you are playing Ladder, I would suggest a Grief Phase Blade.
Armor-Not too much of a fan of teleporting on a Zealot, don't see the need. Duress, Chains of Honor, or Fortitude would be good options
Shield-Herald of Zakarum, Exile, or Alma Negra are good options. SS isn't bad, but I'd use something else.
Gloves-Dracul's Grasp. Best Zealot gloves.
Belt-Verdungo's Hearty Cord or String of Ears, both provide DR, but Verdungos gives FHR and vitality.
Boots-Gore riders, or if you can't get those for some reason, Goblin toe (for more crushing blow)
Rings-Raven Frost of course. Bul Kathos, a rare, etc.
Amulet- If your AR is low, throw on an Angelic amulet/ring for the AR bonus, or just a Metalgrid amulet if you can get one. Highlord's is still nice.

To answer some of your questions:
Vamp gaze is no longer the best pally helm.
Resists are important, so stick Um runes/resist all jewels where you can and try to get 75/75/75/75 resist in Hell. Most monster deal elemental damage, so having them high will keep you alive longer. As opposed to v 1.09, DR is capped at 50% now, just so you know.

I just remembered, but botd is made with a zod, so you really ought to make it in an ethereal item or you are missing out on an extra 50% ed and lower dex/str requirements. Phase Blades can't spawn ethereal.

Just remember that a grief is far better than a botd in terms of raw damage. But grief's price is too high off ladder so botd will still be good.
