Email Spam

Ok this is a rant. I HATE email spam, imagine the scenario.you go onto your email's. You log in.. you have xx new email! But wait, most have the Title Spam! You then have to sift through the emails for actual emails;
Not just..
do this you get love Love blah blah
Send this to 5people.. you will get love blah blah
dont send this to 5people you will never get a gf.. EVER

apart from the actual emails, is the fact people actually send these on, as if they believe that if they dont send them somthing bad will happen.

Spam or stupid people forwarding on stupid messages?

I usually reply to the stupid messages with some inane rant. God I hate those. Thankfully - not received one in a long time - may have worked!

Stupid people sending stupid messages, i get them near daily. i have changed my email address, but they follow you! ahhhh

I have started to get spam when I regestered for these job seach programs.

"Laurie, we found your resume and you sound like the perfect person for our sales team." Please, I had 2 years sales experience. Spamola..in the junk file.

The problem is for Monster and other sites, I use my main addy. I hardly ever check my yahoo or gmail account.

I made the mistake once of ordering something off of Overstock.com. Golly, I get at least one spam everyday from them.

Yeah, get spam of companys but most of its of my friends.

oR start spamming Them with everything under the sun. Eventually your friends'll get the idea, and back the hell off. Subscribe em to everything, or write your own script.

Anything sent from an address not on my contacts or safe list is automatically dumped into the junk folder. Once a week, I check said junk mail for anything that shouldn't be there and then ... *click* "Report all messages as junk mail" and *click* "Empty Folder". 5 seconds, done.

I get lots of subject: [R-PG]"Hi Dredd! Let's meet & play on the monkey bars together"[/R-PG] emails - probably an advert for some webcam network(s).

Oh, and I love the ones with subject: "Great Meeting you last week. Let's do it again!" I wonder if anybody is ever actually fooled by that. :laugh:
