Now, offcourse it's said in the manual, but.. How does the "damage taken goes to mana" thingy work? I have understood, that the certain amount (or percentage) of damage you take "transforms" itself to mana, so if I take some hits, that regains my manapool. For example, you are wearing item, that has 10% damage taken goes to mana. You take a hit of 100 points. You lose your 100 point from life pool and gain 10 points into manapool.
Now, I had a conversation with my friend, and he told me that he understood it completely otherwise. He said he understood the "damage taken goes to mana" thingy like this: When you take some hits, instead of all the damage taken that reduces your life, the % of damage taken... takes a part of the damage from your manapool instead of life. For example, you are wearing item, that has 10% damage taken goes to mana. You take a hit of 100 points, and 90 points will be taken from life and 10 points from mana.
If someone really knows how this thing works, please tell me the facts.
Thank in advance

EDIT: I tried the search but I think it's down for some reason. Got DB error.
i saw a post about "light absorb", there they say first your life increase and after u get damage. Prolly is same for mana, like for life sorb.
Anyway using light sorb items i still died fast against a trapsin. These sorb things are crap i think
if want mana is good a item or ring with mana stolen per hit
ROFL
Ok it works like this: you take 100 damage and gain 10 mana.
Wouldn't everyone wear 7 iths if it reduced your damage?
