It is more for added fire damage and AR, not so for pure fire damage.
Exploding arrows are on Ravenclaw, Kuko and Demon machine, but thats more for the enchanter himself i think.
Strafe is more about the chance to cast stuff and crushing blow. With higher raw damage they have a smaller role so multishot becomes relatively better.
Is mass psn dmg + multi still good?
Nope.
And it hasn't been for many years. The mass psn damage and multi idea is from 1.09 IIRC.
So no, that approach isn't used anymore. It's all about strait physical damage now.
Strafe because im on a netbook and cant see every mob every time :P
I use both about 50/50, but I have strafe maxed and only 11 hard points in multi.
I've always prefered strafe due to the auto targeting, it acts as a scouting tool to find monsters off the edge of the screen.
Use both, there are some spots where multi is undoubtedly better (cow level, chaos, parts of WSK) and some where Strafe is much better. Strafe is very useful for scouting though
strafe makes game to easy :P
