Strafe lock will kill you if you have poor resist. I have negative fire resists for example and Big D will slaughter me if i get strafe lock. However, I have good AR and thus i don't mind taking the risk to strafe to get atma's amp damage going.
Do you then have 1 guided arrow 20 strafe?Originally Posted by Bladewind
Base guided, maxed strafe. I basically run around him throwing guided, till valk/merc tank him.Originally Posted by Dethix

Guided might just be a 1-point skill (i dont see many who max it these days)
Those who maxed guided are probably very hardcore pvpers but usually there is no need for that.
From where I see it, there is no clear answer of which is better. I basically juggle between the two when using my bowazon. Works fine for me. To simply put it, I use MS when I am dealing with big crowds bunched up in a horizontal line in front of me and I use strafe when there are seperate groups of monsters in different places or when they are bunched more tightly in a vertical formation.
You only need to max one Check mana costs.Originally Posted by SplintDagger
Strafe plays better if you play controls/buttons better, Multi is click and shoot, the skills have been nerfed enhanced in past and a balence picked that makes it a Stratigic/Tactic or play style type choice.
Or PvM "Sniper" zons. :wink3:Originally Posted by Bladewind
for diablo, the answer to diablo's lightning hoze is simply to stand next to him and strafe. if you have a decent lifeleech, you'll survive diablo's hits, not to mention you aren't the only one he may want to hit.
