WWS vs Faith

I'm new to amazon and would like to ask the pro/con of each bow for a stafe zon.

faith beats WWS in every way except some resistances

-speed
-damage
-the amp on WWS doesn't trigger often enough compared to faith's consistent damage

Only advantages of WWS are:
* Chance to cast Amplify Damage (which can be obtained by Atma's ammy)
* 2 Sockets
* Some resist

If you can choose: Faith is your best bet.

WWS is good once upg but Omikron is right faith beats it in every way. Apart from WWS is very cheap compared to Faith :smiley:

Choose WWS only if you don't want (or can't) to get the wealth for faith.

To put it eloquently, (IMO) WWS is the best bow a bowazon can get before the uber bows (WF, Faith).

I use both Atma's Scarab and WWS, and Amp Damage procs like mad.

Matri:faster base speed with lower damage
GMB:lower base speed with higher damage
Many people choose Matri for PvP to let them focus on things other than IAS on the rest of their gear. For PvM, GMB is popular due to its higher damage.

Well, there are mods you can download that allow you to make Ladder Only runewords on SP, but even if you get it finding the runes for the Bow would be almost impossible.

WWS should be fine in SP. It needs to be upgraded, however.
