you said a lvl 22 own'ed everyone, i'll tell you why his zon worked and yours won't

his zon used Crushing Blow, lvl 22 is where you get goblin toes, i'm assuming he used crushing blow, coupled with a really fast bow (rogue's bow) and probably knockback, or slow or both

If you want a successful zon, i suggest you do the same thing he did and make ur zon like so:

Rogue's Bow (lvl 20 unique composite)
Twitch
Howltusk (knockback)
Bloodfist
Iratha's Belt (for the +5 min damage)
Goblin Toe

as for rings/ammy, either go 1 angelic ring/ammy for life + 1 rare
or go all rare/magical with min damage

This build is somewhat my personal build, but I'm pretty sure it's the best pvp lvl 22 zon u could make,

in the end you'll have the fastest framerate you can get in classic (8 fps) which requires 80 ias by the way (50 from bow, 20 twitch, 10 bloodfist) - you'll also have some decent damage with that 10 min damage added to rogue's bow, but most importantly you have the 25% crushing blow and knockback - crushing blow/knock bow coupled with 8 fps guided arrows, that have a 95% chance to hit should result in a knockback lock in which no one can escape (theory, haven't tested) with this build i suggest you pick one or the other, all dex (offensive) or all vit (defensive)

also max ga for ur level
you could max crit strike if you want all offensive
0 in penetrate if you're using GA
max dodge or avoid (up to you, i'd pick dodge for chargers)
*also, i'm not sure, but an elemental attack might be a decent way to finish off players that will esc out before u kill em, not sure how well that'd work

all in all i hope everyone agrees, this is ur best bet for a low level pvp zon

Ill be making a lvl 30 bowazon to pk norm games pretty soon- well its more of a dueler cause a lvl 30 zon isnt really considered a threat by lld'ers...

Beltyn, 400 guided arrow damage seems *extremely* low. With a good gothic bow you should be able to break 1k phys dmg with the crit strike factored in. As for killing speed, at least in sc a 9 fpa good geared rune bow pvp zon can take down people pretty quickly if they run or just have low block

Unfortunately, 1K phys still means only 150 max pvp per hit.... good enough for pure pk, but as for duelling... it really depends on what you're facing... as soon as someone gets close you're done for, as you'll have no life whatsoever.

I had a nice goth 100 max dam bow clvl 25 in expac.. at times like those, you wish you could send it to classic ... anyways I made an 18 pvp zon in xpac, glass cannnon build with dex all around, did about 1200 dam after criticals, s0 200 pvp. PK-ing was easy work, shot a LOT of people in an hour, but duelling was impossible. After 17 kills I ran into a chargerdin, and that was that.

Sometimes I get the feeling you are trying to convert us to LoD, mentioning LoD items all the time.
100+ Goths are not uncommon in classic. Found a magic 108 a while back.

Any pvp ama needs her dose of CB. So get yourself some gobs or the pretty pink armor(lvl29 req) and a massive amount of ias(Rogues, as suggested earlier would be nice). Bleed might not be as usefull at such a low level and you need at least level 26 to make them bleed. Knockback, yes, please, used to be lame, now it seems the only way to survive. Cold damage would be nice aswell, for those who don't have their steady supply of cbf(Which you will also need).
For added stun effect, wrap some fire damage in there, as suggested earlier in this thread, Eye and Hotspurs.

And watch out for those charge/zealers, they'll be the death of your bow-wielding zon.

Might try this. But what bow, with 1/2 decent speed and gets 6sox? Am still trying to locate a rogue's bow, which is proving difficult, howltusk is lvl 25 and about 30 more str than anything else + I'm ladder so bb pp.

Crushing blow takes 1/4 off, even using ranged in classic?

Think ranged cahnges changes to 1/8th, and i think its reduced even more to pvp but not sure how much, think arreat may have it somewhere.


Found it, missilt vs players is only 1/20th compared to 1/10th for melee pvp.

with that in mind, are gobs really needed that much?

I dont think so, but on a rogues bow zon im guessing you will need all the extra dmg you can get. Especially since on thie build you will remain stationary and pump arrows at the opponent, when it comes time to run youve probably already lost

it'll be really hard to be the strength/dex req. for a 6 socket gothic (only 6 sockets ive seen, could be wrong) at lvl 18.
