Wow, the SPF has a lot of knowledge about music too!
I like piano music, classical musical and lounge the most. But for party there's nothing better than electronic (gotta love DJ Tiesto), house, euro dance, techno and techno progressive. And obviously (for me) the local bands here in Mexico, which are not very known outside of Mexico
I like to listen John Williams, James Horner, Howard Shore, Alan Silvestri, Christopher Franke, Harand Kloser, Elliot Goldenthal, John Frizzel, Danny Elfman, Don Davis etc. I don't know why but i really like to listen such music. Some soundtracks are really great.
I had been listening "Love and Loss" (from Star Wars Episode 2) by Jonh Williams when i was writing this.
I'm a follower of the dark arts ...
I like most of death/doom/black thrash metal tha's out there. I really hate my country's music scene and I despise the current worldwide pop culture. I also don't like that some rock bands get so much attention when they are really now worth it. It's all about the hype they get.
Some of my favourite bands are Opeth , My Dying Bride , Moonspell , Enslaved , Emperor , Darkthrone , Amon Amarth , Slayer , The Haunted
.. and Skyclad ( I know they don't fit but they are adorable )
HINT: Whoever finds the name of the album and the band in my avatar gets an Expert's GC
My soundcard died, so I haven't listened to much music lately. Which drives me crazy. I usually listen to Aqualung, The Beatles, Beach Boys, James Blunt, Steven Lynch, a little Christina, Dream Theater, Everclear, Smashmouth, um.. Dashboard Confessionals, and a few other bands.
I CAN'T STAND RAMSTEIN THOUGH.
The Libertines, The Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Green Day, The Hives, The Doors, Idlewild are among the favourites.
Anything really, just not R&B.
I like most of that music maxicek![]()
I saw The Hives with Idlewild in support at The Brixton Academy a few years back. Best gig i've ever seen.Originally Posted by aman

Hard to say what i liked more because at Ian Brown he played in a much smaller venue and i was alot closer up (right at the front :grin. Just amazing to see them.
Im currently trying to get tickets to see Arctic Monkeys
It seems that there aren't many metalers here! And you are right, there aren't many metal bands in Greece. One quite well-known black metal band comes from Greece though: Rotting Christ. But I don't listen to BM...:smiley:Originally Posted by Oblivious
