How the **** does UNC lose to George Mason...almost twice as many turnovers in the 1st 5 minutes of the 2nd half than in the whole 1st half. I'm ****ing speechless right now.
GMU totally shut down Hansbrough. 10 points? 5-12 FG? NO FT ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
UCLA and Texas advance to the Elite Eight in spectacular fashion and Duke goes down. What a round, and I'm not even all that into college hoops. But seriously, UCLA had the most amazing comeback I've ever seen. I thought they were done for sure. And then somehow they won. Unbelievable.
Its funny because all through the Duke game I was rooting for LSU to win b/c Texas didn't have much luck against them earlier in the year. After the game though I stopped and thought, "Holy crap, LSU's pretty damn good. I'm kinda worried." Oh well, I like our chances against LSU any day than against Duke.
And about UCLA, what the hell happened in that game? For 35 minutes Gonzaga was dominating by at 10+. The Texas game ends and Zaga is still up 10. I go take a shower, step out and the announcer is screaming that UCLA has just taken the lead with 2 seconds left. Talk about a WTF moment.
Oh yeah, and if I could marry Kenton Paulino, just for one night, I would. That is all.
Anyway, I think the LSU-Texas game should be very good. Both teams have dominated the boards in their respective games throughout the season and thrived off of it, so I think it's gonna come down to the inside game and second chance points.
WELL damn, Texas lost. It was an absolutely terrific game though. Completely 100% even through all of regulation. The game ender though, was that incomprehinsable 3 point shot from Glenn Davis. A 310lb. Center taking a shot from behind the arc? Are you kidding me?! And I don't blame the guys at all for leaving him open... HE'S A 310LB CENTER.
Ah well I'm not too disappointed. We did make it very far, and I shouldn't be TOO greedy. We did already win baseball and football. Also, just imagine if everyone stays for one more year: Aldridge, Tucker, Gibson, Abrams and amazing HS talent Kevin Durant(google this kid). Could be fun!
