I have been getting mixed opinions on this matter. Anyone know if it really makes a difference in PvP Zeal duels?? I heard getting the 86% fhr breakpoint makes a huge difference

Well in my opinion fhr isn't the biggest deal in zeal pvp,but how hard is to get 86 anyway? 30 from bloodfist,30 from coa,10 from dungo, you are at 70% already.
Zeal is uninterruptible, so i doubt it will help much. Concentrate on getting max possible AR and defense instead.
Bloodfist isnt an optimal choice for a zealot IMO.
Depending on setup, they can be from good to ideal. With grief, duels last a few seconds,it is 2-3 hits usually so life tap from dracs is rarely seen. In my high strength setup, stormshield allows me to equip steelrend, else bloodfist is the choice. But to the point, try dueling with 48% fhr for a while, and If you feel that slow hit recovery bothers you go with 86%.
Yeah I thought that too, since zeal is uninterruptible, fhr won't matter that much, and that's how I made my zealers. More defense and damage and life.
this coming from a fury vs fury player, not really sure if it applies.
well fury wolves have huge ar and little def, thus are hitting each other most ofthe time -> fhr highly important as high fhr=faster be able to hit again
which is not the case in ZvZ, because of massive defense, its not like fury wolf duels. Besides fury is interruptible, zeal is not.
The only time you can enter in rec animation seems to be in between zeals.
