Why not just forgo the whole "speed control" by electronics and just get a good ol' gas engine with an accelerator that works with a pulling mechanism? Most go-karts are made that way, just a pedal with a mechanical pulling system linked to the engine.
that sounds like a good idea, ill probably go with that.Originally Posted by masterazn

i didnt get anything done today becuase my friend had to go to the gym (hes unhealthily obsessed) and i had no energy (last few weeks have been hell on my mind, but thats a story for another thread) and tomorrow im getting driving lessons with my dad (w00t for motorcycles). so yeah, i think im gonna have to put this project off for a while (along with the homebuilt nerf gun, flamethrower, catapult, and countless other questionably-safe ideas).
Darn, and I was just about to lay 20-1 odds that it would never happen. Oh well, on to my next easy money making venture.

As for the catapult(I've built a few and a ballista or two) http://www.siege-engine.com/ those guys have good ideas/pictures. Also look up a program called Trebstar, it will help a lot.
That is a good lookin bike, do they still make those? Is it a 750?Originally Posted by The Randy
