they can get 7 frame with any grief phase just needs a little oiasOriginally Posted by Satans_Advocate
i thought oias didn't help shifters attack speed?
thats where you were wrong then.Originally Posted by Satans_Advocate
Generally it doesn't help a wolf as has WW skill for ias etc but often helps a bear get a faster frame.
oias wont help u reach max speed.. or 5fps..
but it'l help u when u hit slower than McD. serving time..
cheers

5fps won't save if you have puny damage. 7fps high damage>>>>5fps touching .That is the point.Originally Posted by pipi-owner
pipi think before you type (DAT GODLY ADVICE FOR U USUAL... RIIIITE???) bears OFTEN get help from oias due to the nature of the skill, a bear can move from 6 frame to 5 with eth tomb and 70oias.Originally Posted by pipi-owner
Go back to you whine thread about druids and disagree with everyone until they give proof then pretend you always agreed.
minstrel - you have pm.

I have done this and still do this and find it a very effective tool dueling. If i get it working i have gotten them down to abiout half their life sometimes more w/o them hitting me once, and maybe doing 1 fury. (thats like 3500-4000 hps.
Now i'm not saying a big strong axe isnt the way the go since i've heard of some ppl using a ebotdz and doing very well w/ it ... but for some reason my setup doesnt like ebotdz / slower items, i've tried them numerous times and i just suck w/ them ... possibly my build.
Im just saying damage isnt always greater than speed.
Well, i have to specify myself. Against high lifer chars i could go nowhere with 4 shael grisw caddy, but performed very well in botd against botd battles. Speed simply not worked for me, damage did. Against zeal pala speed did work. But i won far more duells with ebotdz, than with grisw scepters.
A 7 framer with damage can initiate fhr/stun effect, too. You will need enough damage to put the foo into fhr, I never achieved that against a high lifer with 5 frame weapon, but did many times even with 8 framer...
1h 7 framer "hit like hell" weapons combined with 70/50% ds and 50/65% cb is my conception in a hit-hit-block-block style duel. Increased average damage, and increasing fhr 86 to 152, further increased block rate/def is (guardian angel based, chilling armored eth prudence based) the next logical step for me.
As you see, my personal experience tells the opposite. I never worried about my attack speed much, rather my damage output and fhr/block rate. However, maybe we will get some new rws, those allow us to use high damage attack with at least 6 framer weapon...
ebotd warspike is 6 frames and not bad damage output ... i personally still dont do well with it but you may want to try it out.
Even with 85 nonweapon ias it is 7 frame only, basically 8. I guess you are mixing it with botd pb, which is nothing special in damage.Originally Posted by Voice
