the pistons are a new team this year with flip saunders coaching. i love their starting 5 with 2-3 players rotating in off the bench but as it's been said, that might not cut it in the playoffs.
as for the suns, i think they have a much better chance than last year. they've added a lot more depth and have a number of versitle players that play at least 3 positions. as for stoudamire (he's coming back in about a month last time i checked), i think that his return will have an immediate impact simply because he's a dominating presence near the basket which can really help phoenix out.
the spurs have always been solid but all i've seen recently is ginobili and duncan slowing down as the season moves on. some of the younger guys like parker have been doing nicely though.
then of course there's the heat. they had one win over detroit that i saw, and i think they're deep enough to challenge the pistons. wade is becoming one of best guards and a big man like shaq is a huge luxury in the playoffs.

Pistons over the Mavs in the final is my pick, which hurts me because I'm a Mavs fan...
