    Elemental assassin build, help

hi, now i'm changing my level 51 assassin build to a more elemental base attack and i need some help. i would not like to use any traps but instead just pheonix strike and max out the synergies. i have a friend with me playing paladin using vengence and the aura that decreases monter's resists (conviction lvl 20)

right now i'm basing my character on a claws of thunder/pheonix strike build, i would like to know what finishing move should i have. btw i have good boots. and should i use 2 claw? i would not like to!

i would use either dt or df if you dotn like dual claw (i do)
dc gives more kicks so more changes 2 trigger but df gives more dmg and teleports you i would use them depending on the situation
but dont spend more then 1 point on your finishers they are only there to add some ar on your finish not for the dmg

I suggest dtalon, for the huge ar bonus (although with conviction, ar shouldn't really be an issue) and speed. The other bonus is that if your first attack misses, all subsequent kicks in that series will release charges on hitting, apparently. Flight is a lot weaker as it's a lot slower and has a built in SM-related cooldown. Maxing dtalon isn't useless for the build as with just a little CB it'll speed up killing bosses so much. Having 2 effective elemental attacks is all very well, but why waste the oportunity for a good source of available physical?

With a C/C build (which is my choice whenever I can on elemental builds), you can use the chargeups more effectively than with W/S. If you insist on the W/S route, Phoenix with the Normal attack as finisher is how I would do the build. For synergies, I always do fire/lit for the damage, and release on Phoenix3 if I need some additional freezing going on.

With your friend's Conviction, you won't even have to worry about AR since he'll be reducing defense for you by a huge amount.
