We have a problem with it when you don't even have the balls to stick with it.

That's ridiculous. If I hold a gun to your head and tell you I'll shoot you if you voice an opinion I disagree with, would you not say that you have lost your free speech?

I agree that Irving is a coward for abandoning his position, but that's nowhere near the point.

Don't care about free speech? I don't know about that, but you certainly seem to like to mock people who care about it plenty. Leave the thread? Not quite, but you can sit down or shut up if you think that we have to defend every person who is jailed for speaking his beliefs out loud.

I don't mock people who care about free speech. I mock the thousands of OTF posters who came to the aid of that danish editor and are completely uninterested in standing up for someone who is actually jailed for speaking his mind

I'm not going to sit down and shut up. I don't expect you to stand up for each and every case where speech leads to jailtime. When someone posts a weekold example that's made the rounds in every major western media outlet in a free speech thread I expect more than literally a handful of replies though. I made the infor,mation available and asked for a reaction. You tried to change the subject and blame me for something, still unclear what exactly.

Now kindly start debating the thread topic and stop telling me what I can and can't post in this thread.
