Auradin Doom wepon question

I was thinking about this weapon since i havent seen any auradin with this.... since doom gives +12 holy freeeze and -40-50 cold res maybe this wud be a good aura weapon and have the rest dragon and stuff just a idea tell me if it wud prove to be effective

Doom Zerk
Dragon armor
Dragon pally Shield with at least 40% all resists base resistances
Helm is CoA with facets or Nighwings with facets (you need this for holy freeze to be effective)
I'm not sure but maybe Risingsun's ammy might boost the dragon holyfire, but still need comments on this though.

To be honest, the Holy Freeze on Doom is good for slowing enemies and that's it. A FULLY synergized level 12 Holy Freeze - and that's 20 points in both Resist Cold and Salvation - only gives 458-485 Cold Damage.

Comparatively, dual Dreams (level 30 HS) do 1-7005. HoJ+dual Dragons do 3219-3288.

Thus the elemental damage bonus isn't quite worth the points spent in Resist Cold.

I wouldn't say that this build is bad, hoj+dual dragon has 3.2k avg while dual dream has 3.5k, so damage wise the loss is not that serious. Also holy freeze slows down enemies and that's more important than 1k raw damage in many cases IMO.

My Auradin uses a Doom, duel Dreams, COH ( I like the resistances in PvM) and uses Fanaticism as his main aura. This means I can use a Definiance merc with an Infinity. I like the setup as it gives a good combination of auras, also I have a legit Doom RW :grin: and this was the best build to use it on.

If you do decide to use a Doom then go with 2 Dreams rather than Dragons as lightning immunities are more easily broken than fire ones and the Dreams offer better mods compared with Dragons.
