Hey, was just wondering what would be better, for a WWbarb
    Greif Zerker or Ebotd?

The crappiest Grief easily beats out the best EBotD in terms of raw damage.

It depends on the scenario. In PvM, EBotD > Grief, as it has more useful benefits for that style of play (i.e. Indestructible and leech mods).

    For PvP, nothing beats Grief.

Hard to believe that there are so many people still doubting about grief.. There are like 999 threads about that

As fas as I know, the point seems to be the following:

An Ebotdz will have a damage between, lets say, 184 and 530. The damage you effectively deal is something between thosen extremes, probably calculated using some probability distribution. If the probablity distribution is normal, the most likely damage would be around the average (something like (184+530)/2 = 357). That means you will very rarely do 530 damage! Most of the time you do around 357.

A Grief adds up to 400 damage to the weapon damage, and the result is that the average damage will be much higher (something like (430 + 470)/2 = 450). In a barb, that means a lot more of final damage (maybe 2k more).

Besides, there are other mods that add more dmg (poison, chance to deadly strike).

But how does a grief pb compare to an ebotd ba? Bearing in mind the 1 less range, etc. I'm about to make another ww barb myself for pvm and I really don't like repairing my weapons.

for pvm make a botd for the leech and stats etc.
but range doesn't realy mean that much in pvm, and the base dmg of the weapon is kinda silly compared to the added 400 dmg, so if you make it in a PB you ALWAYS hit the fastest ww breakpoint (on ba >34) and it looks cool

    pvm botd
    pvp grief

the dual leech on botd in pvm allows for you to use dual ravens + highlords which provides a huge AR and dex boost

Why would you make Grief in a phase blade? You can make it in a berzerker axe too (range 3). If your barb is for PvM, maybe you dont need a Grief at all.
