i just got diablo 2 and LOD and my brother got on and got me banned for trying to use a map hack. i wanted to know if this is a temperary ban or if not if there is any way to get unbanned. any answers will be well appricated.

Your account is gone forever. If this is your first time, the CD-Key ban will be lifted after 30 days. If this was a repeat offense, your CD-Key is gone forever as well. There's nothing you can do to reverse a ban.

Just wait a month or so. If you still can't gain access by then, chances are your CD-Key has been permanently banned.

There is no way to get unbanned from a "permanently banned" status.

You can always try to contact blizzard and see if they can help you out. Although "My brother used map hack, not me" is a very common excuse and something tells me that they might not be too helpful. I know bans on Cd-keys can and have been lifted if you provide a valid excuse, not too sure wether they unban accounts tho. Still, might be worth a shot.
