    Wailing beast i think.... Though i may have got it wrong as to where it is located

    I thought it was in one of the tomb places in act 3 , the one you don't need to go down.

    wailing beasts yeah, they can spawn in the 6 temples in kurast bazaar, upper kurast and the kurast highway. The tome is located in one of the two in the bazaar, in the 'ruined temple', which spawns with stairs pointing down+left. Oddly there are maybe 3 or 5 types of monster that can spawn here but nowhere else, a type of spider for example... they are like abominables from acts 1 & 5 but red.

    Only problem with CE is getting that first kill. Also against Meph or Diablo, you have no corpes to explode. Hammer is really too powerful especially with Engima. Even the bugged poison snakes from Nihl isn't a problem for Hammerdin cause that attack can be blocked and you can get 75% block easily without spending incredible amount of points on dex. Advantage Hammer.

    The first kill cannot be a problem if you can teleport, just teleport over a random monster and it will die instantly. "especially with Engima" - People can't live without enigma nowadays, they don't know how to kill stuff without Enigma, or better say Dupenigma... A summoner necro can get the first kill equally fast if not faster by using a teleporting staff (I use Naj's Puzzler). Remember if a build can be strong only with a critical piece of equipment, that means the build is weak. I prayed every night before I go to sleep that by the time I wake up, a rust storm will turn all the dupenigma to "ith" armor, Godly willing.

    A summoner necro don't even need a shield, if not for the +skill. Blocking? Thanks no...

    Remember I'm against a build and not people. And to be honest, Enigmerdin are brainless.... And stay brainless no matter how many brain they harvest from the ubers.

    The only draw back of summoner necro, I must concede, is that they just can't cope with Dclone and the Ubers.

    I certainly agree that Hammerdin are extremely powerfull but I would beg to differ about the Vipers around Nilalatak. Even with top notch gear and good BO, you still got to be careful when there is a good pack of them. They can shread apart pretty much any character.

    Just dim vision everything and they won't shoot the green cloud if they can't see.

    Thanks for all of the great information guys! Infinity is too expensive for me, as I am just starting out on ladder, so i'll probably make either a hammerdin or a summon necro. Even if my hammerdin does not have an enigma does it still top a summon necro? Thanks. Any and all advice is welcome!
