For a Fortitude that you will wear you want a non-eth base armor. Try to get one with at least 500 defense. I don't remember the base strength for HoZ (mine's upped now), but with the anni you won't need much.

hmm well my grief requires 130 dex so probobly 100 strg and 100 dex?

also would a Umed hoz be better than a sanctuary since it would have 72 all res along with everything an hoz does for you?

I don't think it's needed. Which equipment are you using? Middle or Rich class? If rich class, your points are better spent in defiance as I had no trouble at all w/ 1 pt in Smite and I was attacking all 3 Ubers at once. I've done about 4 runs with the same skills and equipment as the +Damage build and haven't died once in Tristram. Only time I die is when getting the body parts and cursed with IM.

On my non ladder Uber Slayer, I never used defiance... Thus, I figured it to be a waste of points... Exile took care of that for me... I figured a few extra points in salvation would be put to better use than anything else, but then again, a little extra damage in the smite catagory never hurt either... As far as my gear is concerned, I'm at the mid class right now, but I'm quickly moving into the rich calss... Not that it's really going to make all that much differance, but it looks cool! :grin:

I'm not having any trouble with anything... Just getting an idea of who does what with their left over points...

Ok so I want to make fortitude armor what armor am i looking for, anything over 1k def? and what is the price on those. Also what should i make my base strength to use fortitude and hoz? also planning on using an anni which would remove some stress on strength, thanks

If you are aiming fort for over 1k defense look at archon plates and above. They will net you 1K def EASILY.

kinda curious about the hoz question too. hoz has better blocking, ar boost, skill boosts, str boost, and sanctuary has better resists, fhr, def. vs. missile. even though sanc. beats hoz in res. , hoz can still have 72 um'd which doesn't seem too shabby ^_^. other than the resists it seems like hoz is the better choice. also i know there's probably a good reason for this but why exile for the rich cb build and santuary for rich damage build? (i originally planned to go middle class but somehow ended up going rich lol)

as far as whether the extra points should go actually into smite or defiance, i think i'll put mine in defiance, seeing as how as long as i can do ubers with relative ease i don't mind too much =). will probably throw in a point for vigor also.

again this is my first pally build, so i don't really know too much here. that's why all the questions:wink3:

The sanctuary aura would keep the minions off
BUT would the decrepify cast when Im smiting the ubers? Would it be effective?
Would my lifetap still work with my draculs gloves? (when I can get hold of one actually!)

Decrip will override lifetap waaay too often than you rather like.

Okay, I'm going for the rich +dmg build... Currently have grief, forti, raven, soon guillaumes..
And can afford the rest.. I just wondered...
Firstly what is the price for a nice sanctuary with around 100+ prismatic and what shield should it be in..
Also wouldn't LoH be better than draculs because of dmg to demons? As far as i remember the bosses are demons?
