That used to be a nice cookie cutter way of party pking in xpac 1.09.

Thinking maybe high holy freeze, couple into holy shock for cold immunes (will already have holy fire as pre req in case of dual immune).

Diggler (unique dirk) as weapon, ignore target defense, nice attack speed, some resist.

Thinking deaths combo for added ias plus cbf, if using holy freeze (which you'll likely need to just stop getting swamped and killed anyway) can't rely on fana for nice attack speed.

Using diggler and deaths, you can get 12 fpa, if get an extra 5% ias (only really likely form twtich, which may be quite a sweet armor for the build) can drop to 11 fpa.

problem comes with how to kill uniques/bosses :sad2:

And on a sidenote, you still don't need hit a target to convert. Conversion is the Jedi way, you just wave your finger/hand/weapon in front of the target and you have a chance to convert/see things your way.

So, ITD is not needed on your weapon. A dirk's base speed is zero. Since attackspeed is key, I would suggest a Cutlas. As Fred is fond of pointing out, that is the fastest 1h weapon you can lay your hands on, get yourself a cutlas with 10IAS and you will be at 10 Frames. Wear a Twitch aswell and you will be at 9 frames.
With a diggler that wouldn't even get you down to 10 frames.

Deaths and any cutlas will get you 9 Frames.
Deaths, 10ias cutlas and Twitch will get you 8 frames.

And you can still shop for a speedy cutlas. Maybe even a Priests cutless of speed.

No need to sink points into fana then.

if you have the holy freeze anyway, you should be able to kill the non cold immune bosses with Holy Freeze and Holy shock. Just fill up Salvation for it's synergy bonus to Freeze,Shock and Fire. Since you will be hitting so fast anyway, it shouldn't be a problem to kill a boss. maybe get some smite, at least get some gobs or CB from somewhere.

hmmm, if using smite as backup combined with CB, i'd suggest blood crescent (unique scimitar), resists, life, ias, and open wounds.

Boss killing shouldnt be a problem with smite and crushing blow. The dream weapon is probaby a +2pala 40 ias scimitar, or you could go with any fast weapon with resists... itd isnt needed.

Hell, a pvm smiter with full clegs can drop *any* hell act boss in 5.5 seconds (timed)

    Re: Conversion bug :)

According to the AB's wiki (based on research by onderduiker), this happens when your character level is less than the converted monster's level. If your character's level is the same as or more than the converted monster's level, this drastic drop in monsters' life doesn't happen.

Oops, sorry for the necropost. I meant this to follow up to jiansonz's post.
