Faith has ignore target def, and 300% to attack rating bonus. This is prolly a newb question, but do i need that much attack rating since i have ignore target def? and if so, how much should i put into penetrate and peirce for a faith bowazon?
Only using GA will give ITD. But if you want to throw strafe or multi in there then you will need better AR.
ITD doesn't affect champs/bosses/act bosses
this is where AR becomes important, assuming you aren't using GA for pvm (which sucks anyways)
luckily fanat gives a big AR bonus so one base penetrate should be enough
Is faith statistically the best bow no matter what? Is it oustripped by WF, etc.
can WF hit 8/2 with 50 IAS? No
WF give ITD? No
WF give free tanks (returned)? No
WF give skills? No
Faith pwns windforce hard, the damage after fanat bonus is close to wf max and the speed makes it the clear winner
It also allows your merc and party member to kill faster as well (assuming that there isn't already a fanatic zealot).
There is 1 case I can think of that WF does better in damage, and that's if you are running with a fanatic zealot 24/7.
Or when you give a faith bow to your merc. Same speed-bonus, higher base damage on wf, plus you grab that ever-important manaleech from your bow. Oh... and it reminds you of 1.09, for the extra sentimental value.

I have a faith on my Zon...3/2/15 and i have tried several combinations with merc's.For me Might merc using a pride and me with the faith does the most damage.Originally Posted by ConF
Didnt think of proud mercs, indeed, that may deal more damage. Still, I do believe the difference is not even that much because base damage is só extremely important.
The fana-rogue has the advantage that it can run into IM-infested areas without trouble though. For pure damage, act 2 w/ pride is probably better indeed.
