    Flagergr greets you all!

    Hi!
I've been lurking here a while now and I think it's time to introduce myself. So here a short version: 24 year old materials engineering student who spends too much of his time playing diablo2, works at a liqoursshop when he has spare time and oh yes, is Finnish
I started playing diablo2 shortly after LOD came out when my younger brother (the one in the middle) bought it. I got an burizon to 99 in 1.09, tried 1.10 a bit, did a hammerdin, found all kinds of goodies including a cham rune (dropped by bremm sparkfist or one of his gang) and then got tired of d2 and deleted everything. Then i got a speedy internet connection (for that time) and the d2 itch was there again, this time it was for battlenet. But the game shortly lost its point for me. It seemed battlenet was all about rushing, trading and then some more rushing and I didnt't know what the goal was anymore -> quits again. Then, after time passes, I stumble upon this great site and read about ATMA and all kinds of wacky builds and start d2 once again.
My d2 gaming is still of on/off nature, I had a blizzsorc for mf last time (got to ripe age of 92), then I quit and deleted all chars, but saved all equipment in atma stashes. So for the time being I'm using the goodies I've found to build exciting builds, no serious mfing (as of yet). Most fun pat so far is a staffzealot barbarian (monkbarb?)
I'm sure I've left something out, and in that case: feel free to ask.

Well he was one of those deleted ones, but I'll tell you what i remember. He wore the disciple set, a shako, ravenfrost and a rare ring, demonlimb and a echoing weapon on switch, might merc and this for main weapon:

    Passion
    Kebulator's Shillelagh
    'DolOrtEldLem'
    Two-Hand Damage: 192 to 319
    Durability: 20 of 40
    Required Dexterity: 27
    Required Strength: 52
    Required Level: 62
Staff Class - Very Fast Attack Speed
    Item Version: 1.10 Expansion
    Item Level: 85
    Fingerprint: 0x7213f1ad
    +196% Enhanced Damage
    Adds 1-50 lightning damage
    75% Extra Gold from Monsters
    25% Increased Attack Speed
    +1 to Zeal
    +1 to Berserk
    +1 to Meteor (Sorceress Only)
    +2 to Hydra (Sorceress Only)
Hit Causes Monster to Flee 25%
    Hit Blinds Target +10
    55% Bonus to Attack Rating
    225% Damage to Undead
+50 to Attack Rating against Undead
Level 3 Heart of Wolverine (12/12 Charges)
    Socketed (4: 4 used)

skills were 20 macemastery, 20 bo, 20 shout, 20 warcry, 1 conc (used until i could use the passionstaff), plus prereqs and usual masteryskills

He had required strenght and dexterity for the gear, rest into vitality. As i recall ge had 3000+ life and stunned foes for a long long time. I didnt fight all the monsters (as he was maybe a tad lacking in the damage department), but did engage all fights he thouht he could lose. Not that I remember him losing one :azn:

Welcome aboard, flagergr! Good to see you figured out what's best in D2. Hope you didn't waste too much time on the Realms.

Finnish, eh? Residing in Finland, or just of Finnish ancestry, as myself? My last name would be Nyman, which I've seen some famous Finnish athletes have also been named. My ancestors came to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the early 1900s.

    Anyhow, welcome, again.

Billybgame: I'm resident in Finland and have been so for my whole life. Haven't really went far abroad actually, only to Sweden and Estonia both very near. Been planning going further i.e. to the USA or where ever but I need to get the money for it first

Jackalope: Well everytime I thought that now is the time to make an intro it has always been a time to quit for me, so it always seemed silly to make a post saying "Hi I'm new here, and I just quit D2"

Derailing my own thread: just out of curiosity Billybgame, do u have u have any Finnish traditions (not that i can think of one, I'm propably taking them for granted :azn: )
