Would it not be better to get 4x Zerkers instead and even if they all blow, trade all 4 for a perfect one?
Depends on realm prices. Eth 5sock zerkers may be more expensive than gul+vex in some realms.
Hmm... I traded 2 HRs for that Death, muahaha. That's approx the cost of the runes to make the runeword at that time =)

The point is that the person then uses a new batch of runes to re-make the rune word in hopes of better stats. For instance, if one had a particuarly nice eth berserker axe(say a superior with 15% ed) and made a BotD that yielded a low ed%, he might want to try again for a higher ed%, and thus higher damage.
This is my level 88 Zealor. I use 390% Ebotdz, Fort Armor, Gore Riders, Verdungos, Sanctuary Runeword Shield, Guillames Helm, Draculs, Angelic Ammy/Ring and a Ravenfrost. I do 7.2k max damage. My resist are ok, but I think I need more life. Hows it look?
