If i want to be a pure MFer, whats the best build...i'm stuck between Full Blizz, or Meteorb.
I was thinking Pindle/Meph as a Blizz, but i'm not sure if thats the best mfer for 1.11, like it used to be.
Any suggestions on a build and areas to mf?
BTW, i've read the guide, but i'm still not sure which would be best :-)

imo, sorcs suck at mfing in hell, use a enigmad hammerdin.
best places to mf are pindle, nilly, meph, andy, countess, and maybe some key runs if you want
sorcs cannot take hell imo, they are too weak in terms of life, and there are so many immunes that they would have to have a high lvl merc to solo hell.
Sorcs cannot take hell and suck at MFing? What kind of sorc are you playing with? :rolleyes:
Awong, if all you want to run is Andy, Meph, Pindle, then make a pure Blizz sorc. You can also run Ancient Tunnels with her if you want. Keep in mind that a single element sorc means you will need to rely on your merc more often to take care of immunes.
If you want more versatility, go with Meteorb. She won't kill bosses as fast as a pure Blizz sorc, but she can handle almost any area of the game.
Well, i've got a javazon who i do pit runs with and it seems fine atm with her
The sorc will just be a cash supplement, and will probably fade out to a hammerdin or something else over time. So yeah, the blizz sorc sounds decent. Thanks!

i was using a meteorb sorc, and i kept running in to fire immunes, while my orb wasn't high enuf lvl to do some REAL damage. Then, when they were duel immunes, i couldn't even TOUCH them.
My sorc runs countress well enough...... Get a real merc. You probably seriously lack +skills so that your orb sucks. lvl 20 orb + 1 CM + 10 +skills is not bad at all.Originally Posted by Flareboosted

Unless you're walking around naked or didn't have a good enough Cold Mastery, your Orb should be doing noticeable damage. As for the dual immunes, that's what a merc is for.Originally Posted by Flareboosted

I have a pure lightning sorceress (hard core) that I run Hell Countess. I need help to move on in hell, so I'm stuck in act 1 at the moment. Level 80, pure lightning, very little problems.
Archers are immune to lightning and my merc SUCKS, so I just zip past em. Every now and then they're keeping the countess company so I have to deal with it. Lure them out, kill everything else, or escape and make a new game.
I will say that a hammerdin with enigma is awesome!

imo the reason it is so good is because well....
1. paladins have more life and are much stronger
2. since they already need fcr they tele pritty well
3. with the right equipment, you can easily kill all bosses in lest then 30 seconds
1. The OP already said that he's choosing between a pure Blizz sorc and a Meteorb. Why bring a pally into it?
2. If they have Enigma that is, which the OP may or may not have. Again, he wants to choose between pure Blizz and Meteorb.
3. So can a sorc.
