    Question ElitePvPzealot help please

My experience with d2 has been outdated. Runewords have overcome everything to be the elite equipment these days. I'm still not familiar with all of it. Ive got my skills and my stat point allocation figured out so take a look and be free to critisize or suggest improvements

    Skills Stats
20 Sacrifice Strength- enough for equipment
    20 Zeal Vit- everything else
20 Fanatism Dex-enough for max block
20 Holy Shield Energy- leave at base
    the rest prereq

I'm having trouble with equipment choices. I've narrowed down i few.

    Helmet- Vamp Gaze?
Armour- whats the best pvp zealot armour?
    Weapon- BotD Zerker Axe
Gloves- Draculs, Soul Dariner, or steelrend?
    Belt- Verdungos
    Shield- Exile
    Boots- gorerider, sandtrek, or wartrav?
    Rings- carrion wind+ ravenfrost
    Amulet- highlords?

Ive seen alot of different armour suggestions for a zealot like enigma. I'm also curious about whats important for a zealot. DR, life leech, fhr, are important but what else? What charms are important, do i need poison dmg? Im open to all suggestions and critisism please.

Pvp zealot? Max defiance too, you'll need the extra defense. Damage reduction is capped at 50%,get as nearer to 50% as possible. There isn't exactly a best gear setup. Very common setups are grief/forti/crown of ages (2ber)/verdungo 15% dr/exile or verdungo/stormshield/forti/grief or levi/coa 2ber etc etc... Other than that gore rider is the most common for the deadly strike, open wounds and defense. Amulet/rings of choice are usually angelics for the ar bonus.
Enigma gives you a huge life boost, has some damage reduction but the skills won't help you much and the defense is so and so. Check stoutwood's pvp zealot guide, offers loads of info.

I dunno what zealot can kill in PvP. Its something like heavier version of kicker? I just have not seen any so far somehow.

Zealots play mostly against zealots, but if they are built correctly they do stand chance vs ww barbs (tough duel though).

IMO for pvp Grief owns all others, ridiculous damage. Also enigma is good but personally I prefer fortitude, it's damage boost just gets nasty with a Grief. Also I think you should use ber'd CoA instead of gaze since coa is much better with good amount of DR also. Well having all this said, only if you're rich should you get the best items. Hight RW's these days are worth a load.

I must agree with you, CoA is much better than the Gaze(gaze looks cooler though )
What do you guys think of BotD and Stone armour? Both of these are highly praised by Stoutwood in his zealot paladin guide and imo the best choices for a zealot as well. Grief is also very excellent though.

Botd will do just fine since it's damage is really good also. Stone armor is not necessarily the best although it gives the most defense. However, IMO I would get fort since its 300%ED is just insane especially with weps like botd or grief. And since you can get really high defense (40k+) with fort anyways you don't need to especially favor stone for 6k more defense or so.

Your right, the 300% edmg is insane. Fortitude is also one of stoutwoods top picks in his zealot guide and i think i'm gonna go with it. Is vers 3.0 stoutwoods latest guide for a pvpzealot?
