I second you there. I am going to keep driving my old explorer and finish a full restoration on my 64 Lincoln Convertible. This spring I am going through the brake system, convertible top system, and rebuilding the tranny. Going to take a few years to fully restore it mechanically. Then at that time drop the 10K plus to have it stripped down, metal work done, and painted. Another 5K if I redo the leather interior.
