How can relying on the way you move your hand in almost all games get you killed? You use the same motions. All you need to do is remember what does what. That is more a matter of brute force repetition and conditioning than anything else.Originally Posted by Rabbitz

yeah, once you play a couple hours with a new skill setup you'll be used to it and wonder why you didnt change to it sooner
i didnt know you could also use the a,s,d keys. thnx for that. and can i ask why everyone likes the gumby (clay golem) so much?
gumby=lots of health+slow target (mine's at 49%)=muy bueno
other golems=soso (with exeption of fire which is useful for poisonmancer for that one health
Ok,ty. Im using the fire golem now (have 1 point in every golem, im lvl 31 now), still trying the skills. And are the revives worth it to max out? since they only live 3 min.
Okay this really helps me out with my summoner, I have been uncomfortable with my hotkeys too.
I use
asdfgzxcvb
for my skills.
I think what is getting me into trouble is that I am still thinking like a melee player. If I get rid of my attacks (which I don't really use) from the a, s keys and replace those with curses that should help me out a lot. Great thread thanks.
They are strong and very useful. But their pathing AI makes it hard to use them without having tele. They have a timer which makes it hard to keep all of them active at the same time. Most people find that 1 point and some good +skills gives them all the Revives they can handle.Originally Posted by Misterme

nonono, try playing a fps for hours, then switch to diablo, eys you use the same set of keys, thats the point, somehow, somewhere while playing, i WILL hit a wrong key and die...Originally Posted by Mad Mantis
ive got another question, i tried to set the skill on asdfg and that keys, but i cant. how can i do that?
(this is for the other person that asked as well.) you need to make those keys available for use in control options first. press esc, go to options, etc.Originally Posted by Misterme
mine were:
asdfg
zxcvb
i see no reason to complicate
potions default, few, more arbitrary changes were made
