Or have a too high Gamma. But it's pretty easy telling if it's a unique or a rare, mostly, since all rares have a 2 word name+weapon type, which are totally random, whereas uniques have always the same name and it can be 1 or more words+weapon type. Myself I used to use maximum Gamma to try if it could counter CoS, but it didn't and also there was no visible color difference between uniques and rares.
