Has it ever occured to anybody why I don't make direct links to some pictures? Imagine if Zodi's kids clicked on this pic. You try explaning to her how her kids were exposed to things not appropriate for young kiddies.

Do us all a favor, before linking to such things, take off the www and http and dot-whatever. Otherwise, banning could ensue.

That's all I'm asking. Make it so to see the pic somebody has to go through several steps on their part to see it. That ensures that I am not responsible for their seeing the image and thus not in violation of the OTF rules.

Also by not making things a direct link, you are doing your part to help prevent somebody from accidentally opening up an image that is NSFW. How would you feel if you posted a link and somebody got fired for clicking on it? YOU provided the link. It is entirely possible that an accidental click could open a NSFW link. That's why you make it a multi-step process.

This method does not excuse somebody from posting the website containing stuff entirely against the OTF rules and it's family-friendly forum status. No porn, no overt blood guts and gore, excessive profanity, etc. All it does is provide you a way of assisting people in seeing things they might not otherwise see. And if they do choose to see it, their bleeding eyes are entirely their own fault.
