A closing word about proportion: This is not something on which I should throw the first stone from my glass house. However: Charles Carreon isn't the worst person in the world. He's not the worst person on the internet. If his antics illuminate the flaws in our legal system and encourage people to support free speech and change the system, that's good. If he's just the freak of the week, that's not particularly good. Just sayin'.
Final Update I think.
The EFF reports that Charles Carreon has withdrawn his mad lawsuit against Matthew Inman, creator of The Oatmeal.
"Matthew Inman spoke out against Carreon's threat of a frivolous lawsuit, in a very popular and very public way," said EFF Senior Staff Attorney Kurt Opsahl. "This was nothing more than a meritless attempt to punish Inman for calling attention to his legal bullying. We called him out on this in our briefs, so it's no surprise that Carreon was left with no choice but to dismiss."
He gets it, and is going to STFU.
Would you hire this man as your Lawyer?
That's good to hear, justice has prevailed for once
I would say that any publicity is good publicity, but the dude tried to sue a charity. Two charities, actually. Who would even come near this guy for their legal needs? You hire him to defend you and instead he tries to sue freaking UNICEF or something.
Exactly, I nearly came out of my seat when I read that part.Originally Posted by pancakeman

So you are saying that you were naked all day today?
That's a good day in my book, don't see many of those anymore.
More nakedness would be fine in this forum if there were more women posters, but we all know that women don't exist on the internet.
