The following is a news item from the UK Times ....

Fun-filled sororities are the staple of American college life, the girls' equivalent to the fraternity. They're associated with excess and toga parties, too (think of the film Animal House). But the latest addition is different: the country's first Islamic sorority. "Partying is allowed in Islam, but it's how you party" explains Althia Collins, who set up Gamma Gamma Chi at Kentucky University. There is already a neat line in T-shirts for members, including "Real Women Pray" and "NO, I Am Not Oppressed"

Hehe ... the T-shirts bought a smile to my face.

you can still have a good party without booze and cheap sex. Not as thrilling or contraversal, but it happens.

That happens to me alot: it IS a good party untill I show up; drink all the booze and scare the women away.

Yeah, it's tough them being a small country in West Africa and all. They're no Burkina Faso, but I'm sure they throw a good party.
